MHRA Electrosurgery Training

MHRA Electrosurgery Training

The Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and the Royal College of Surgeons have together created a free electrosurgery education package.

It is aimed at all operating theatre staff including surgeons, assistants, anaesthetists, scrub staff and operating department practitioners.

The educational package is presented in two forms. In the review version you can have multiple goes at each answer to learn as you go through. With the certificated version you only get one chance at the questions and you have to achieve over 80% success to obtain the certificate of completion.

You will find a series of embedded quizzes throughout the programme which will aid you in remembering the important facts.

How can I take part in the programme?

To find out more information about this training, visit The Electrosurgery Education Package page of the MHRA website.

Having problems accessing the programme?

It could be because it requires Flash Version 10 to run.
Download Flash Version 10 It’s free!

Still having problems?

It could be the browser you’re using. So far it only seems to be working in Internet Explorer.
